This support fund addresses any animated short film whatever the nationality of the director.

Animation techniques can be the following: puppets, objects, pixillation, clay, cut-outs, low-relief, paint or sand on glass, drawing on paper or cell. Traditional handdrawn animation on digital drawing tablets can be considered (please contact us before submitting this kind of project). Computer 2D/3D animated films are excluded.

The project can be registered directly by the director. This can also be done by a short film production company, acting as an associate producer. In the case of foreign films, the French associate producer can send in an application (on presentation of a co-production contract). The producer will have to take on the financial, technical and artistic responsibility of the project and show a copyright sales contract signed with the project’s author(s)/director(s).

The animation of the film must not have started before the day of the meeting with the jury.

The next deadline is September 15th 2017.

The meeting with the jury will held on November 21rst 2017 (the preselection for the meeting will be announced at the beginning of November 2017).
